I am happy to share that my artist’s book Alt Jabel* has received yet another recognition. At this year’s Grafika Roku (Graphic of the Year) award ceremony, the book was honored in the Artist’s Books student category.
The jury described the work with the following words:
“The artist’s book Alt Jabel* reveals a delicate, nuanced graphic style. Through woodcut and monotype prints in soft, muted tones, it evokes the atmosphere of a familiar place with quiet intimacy. The clean text layout harmonizes with the full-page illustrations, as does the bookbinding. Together, these elements form a balanced and cohesive whole.”
You can see the Grafika Roku exhibition until 12 October 2025; open daily (except Mondays) from 11 am to 7 pm at the Czech Gallery of Modern Art, Betlémské náměstí 8, Prague
