I'm happy to share that two books I designed were awarded at the Most Beautiful Czech Book Award (Nejkrásnější české knihy roku):
1) My master project, Alt Jabel*, received a special award for excellent illustration. The book is a very personal story about places from my childhood place in Germany–so it's very honouring for me to receive this price in the Czech Republic!
2) The book by Isidora Stojanović and me got the 3rd price in the category Bibliophilic and Artist's Books. landscape:escapeland contains a dialogue between Isidora and me, exploring visual communication between two people who have never met before.
The Most Beautiful Czech Book Award is presented by the Ministry of Culture and Muzeum of Literature. The Special Award for Excellent Illustration is awarded by the Foundation of Czech Graphics Hollar.
