Horizonte (Horizons) is a series of graphic leporellos that works with three distinct types of horizons and their shapes: the rocky horizon of the Alps, the gently rolling hills of the Šumava, and the flat, seemingly endless line of the Baltic Sea. Each of these horizons unfolds across the folds of the leporello, so their lines only become fully visible once the object is completely unfolded.
At the same time, the work also tells the author's personal story. It connects three places that at first glance seem unrelated: the Baltic Sea as part of his native Germany, the Šumava as the landscape of his current home, and the Austrian Alps as one of his favorite places for mountain hikes.
